A Collective Work in Progress

Western Sensibility invites you to investigate designing for the pluriverse and how it cultivates empathy, connection, and non-linear sensibility in our diverse community. Join us and participate in a communal sewing circle to contribute to an ever-evolving tapestry. All ages and experience levels are encouraged — bring old or new friends, family, children, neighbors — all are welcome.

A Collective Work in Progress seeks to understand the effects of cooperative and creative endeavors that abandon solutionism for the unknown. Leana Becker, your host and Western Sensibility CCO, will synchronously document this exploration by creating a journal that reflects participant experience in forms ranging from writings to photographs.

All materials will be provided, including complimentary coffee and tea. By participating, you are consenting to donate your work to a collaborative tapestry that will be exhibited throughout Month of Design (MoD) in Detroit and will be hung at its final home, the Western Sensibility studio in Missoula, Montana.
